Accordingly, in our view, the company’s share price is not expected to remain undervalued for much longer. Speculative investors should also note the considerable “blue sky” potential offered by the company’s promising nickel exploration projects.

Kensington Resources Ltd. (TSX.V-KRT) ( www.kensington-resources.com ) is a well-respected junior exploration company that is sitting on top of the world's largest diamond deposit. In fact, Kensington and its partners control a whole cluster of huge diamond-bearing kimberlite pipes. And they're not in some desolate overseas outpost. Remarkably, they are all located in central Canada. The world's pre-eminent diamond experts, De Beers, are certainly impressed enough to commit big money to this joint venture. In fact, for De Beers' Canadian exploration division, this high-stakes project glimmers with the prospect of becoming the world's largest diamond mine.

March/April, 2003
It's 2003 and we're on the threshold of a particularly exciting new chapter in the Great Canadian Diamond Rush. Indeed, this year we should see a great deal more action on the drilling front compared to last year's sporadic and largely disappointing drilling forays. And just one company, Ashton Mining of Canada (TSX.ACA), was the driving force behind most of 2002's drilling. Its only real glimmer of hope came in the Otish Mountain region of central Quebec.

Subscribers, take note than SmallCapMedia was the first media publication to alert investors to the near-term upside for Metalex Ventures (TSX-MTX). This Canadian diamond exploration company dramatically appreciated as much as 648% within 60 days of our picking Metalex at $0.80 in September. (Our calculation factors in the 2-for-1 stock split that took place in mid November. Thus, on an adjusted post-spilt basis, our initial recommendation translates into $0.40 a share).

read Godfather of Canadian Diamonds Hot On Trail of New Billion Dollar Discovery
By Marc Davis, Managing Editor
September, 2002
The focus of Canada's much-heralded hunt for new billion dollar diamond discoveries has ironically shifted away from the region that first ignited considerable excitement in late 2001. After a few months of highly encouraging results, Ashton Mining of Canada (TSX-ACA) announced in August that both its Artemisia and Potentilla kimberlite pipes have not lived up to expectations. (Two mini bulk sample programs provided disappointing diamond counts). This development is bad news for the several dozen junior mining companies that jostled for position in a huge staking rush all around Ashton's two flagship northern pipes. And with the extreme cost of working near the Arctic Circle in Canada's frigid territory of Nunavut, it's likely that this area play will soon fizzle out.
